It seems the destruction of the pitch-black box is the reply , though Natalie in all probability wo n’t expose her for it . She does n’t want more blood on her hand , and she ’s too eager to detect a way home .

Her impulsive decision in time of year 1 costs them greatly , but it ’s not something she pass on much thought to . She likely believes they ’ll be deliver quickly no matter of what she has done — and that she ’ll have gained the other girl ' friendship and respect in the lag .
