Yellowjacketsseason 3 spell trouble for Misty ’s relationships with the other survivor in the adult timeline , and there ’s a reason she burns the pic of them together in sequence 3 . Misty has always been an outsider inYellowjackets , both before and after the missy ' time in the Wilderness . While she becomes an integral member of the group after their plane crashes , she ’s scarcely close friends with the other girls inYellowjackets’past timeline . And they seem even more resistant to maintaining a human relationship with her as grownup .
Despite this , Misty still shoehorns herself into their lives — and to her credit rating , she does seem to show up when they need her most . ButYellowjacketsseason 3looks like it could be a turn point in Misty ’s kinship with the adult survivor , particularly after episode 3.Misty burning the photo of herself with Nat , Shauna , and Taissa might seem utmost , but it ’s indicative of her lineament arc during this junket . And her argument with Shauna in sequence 3 is really just the tip of the iceberg .
Misty Doesn’t Think Shauna & Tai Are Her Real Friends (& She Already Lost Natalie)
Shauna’s Harsh Words Push Her To Accept Walter’s Accusations
Misty burning the picture inYellowjacketsseason 3 , sequence 3stems directly from her line of reasoning with Shauna in this installment , but her anger goes deep than that . Shauna and Taissa are ignoring Misty ’s call when season 3 opens , and Walter points out how badly they treat her . Although Misty initially defends her friends , it seems Walter ’s accusations are getting to her . She ’s realize that the other female child do n’t valuate their friendship near as much as she does . With Natalie gone , that ’s a particularly irritating revelation for her .
Shauna Shipman ’s biggest cataclysm in Yellowjackets happens at the end of time of year 2 , and season 3 ’s possibility episodes make it even more devastating .
This is something that seems to be lingering in her mind after Walter points it out , butShauna ’s frustrations with Misty press her over the bound in " Them ’s the brake system . “Not only does Shauna accuse Misty of tampering with her bracken in this episode , but she says some pretty harsh things to Misty . She brings up Misty ’s role in Natalie ’s death and wonders what injury could have made her the path she is . It ’s enough to convince Misty that Shauna is n’t her real friend . And as she has n’t heard from Tai , she seems to have accepted the same about her .
Shauna Thinking Misty Tampered With Her Breaks Wasn’t Actually That Ridiculous
While it ’s easy to sense for Misty — even after all she has done — Shauna ’s accusal in " Them ’s the bracken " are n’t in reality that ridiculous . Misty is known for such antics , and she even meddle with Natalie ’s auto when she ’s trying to force their friendship . It ’s not clear if Shauna knows about this incident , but she ’s aware of the lengths Misty is unforced to go to in decree to stay close to the other survivors . Misty also destroys the black box inYellowjacketsseason 1 , and there ’s a chance the other girl discover about that before the adult timeline as well .
Shauna may soon gain she want Misty to get to the bottom of this incident , but it ’s heavy to say how Misty will react after her anger in sequence 3 .
Of course , Shauna is a caboodle more fell in her response to Misty ’s meddling than Natalie is , but that ’s all down to characterisation . And it does n’t seem like Misty is the one who cut her brake , leave behind another closed book forYellowjacketsseason 3 to solve . Shauna may presently realize she need Misty to get to the bottom of this incident , but it ’s hard to say how Misty will react after her ire in sequence 3 .
