" Yeah , it definitely feels like a standalone picture show in every way . I always hat the idea of saying ' Wolverine 2 . ' I did n’t know what it was going to be called . It was the studio , I think , who came up with the idea of the title , and I was like , ' Fantastic . ' Because in a way , I knew that everybody , from studio down , was embracing this thought of this movie being different , and it needed to be . I have in mind , it was one of the reason why the laughable books are so democratic . It feels like a whole dissimilar offshoot and I conceive visually , stylistically , the movie”and I ’ve probably realize at least 45 minutes cut together and I ’m so glad with it . I definitely imagine it ’s the beneficial I ’ve been in the character . I attend at it and go , ' Wow . ' It feels different and it feels in a path more like the persona that I envisioned when I first take it . I think their style is different . The palette , the design is different . The story is dissimilar . This is not jam packed with mutants . This is not a massive , special impression movie , and nor should it be . It does n’t need to be . This is a character study about this guy , and place it in this humans I think is just exciting because as I said , we bug out ordinarily where you might eat up a moving-picture show , you sleep together ? " Yeah , that ’s a bang-up interrogative . You know , like , it just sense disingenuous to have a completely happy conclusion . So , in that style , Jim first say to me ' The Outlaw Josey Wales , ' you know , and that idea of that fictional character who ’s drive by this”well , in that movie it ’s clean-cut variety of revenge and forlornness of everything that he ’s had . So , it ’s not just the same , but stylistically , I think he was onto something really great . He ’s in spades made me raging , surlier , more anguished . He ’s encouraged me at every turning to”you know , at times I desire to quip , and here and there I ’ll quip , and occasionally they ’re there , but very careful about that , about us lose the tone , which is notably darker in this picture , which I guess is always the manner it ’s got ta be . But really , in many way , both of them are very assured movie maker , and they would ’ve been different film , but again , I want to say in the 20 pct difference of opinion , not like chalk and Malva sylvestris . "

With Darren ’s story , was it also going to be based after the other films ? That was always the program ?

" Yeah , yeah . "

" We talked about it . Darren and I talk about it . Jim and I sing about it . The studio apartment and I talked about it .
