The season finale ofThe Pittwas one of the show ’s most piquant and stressful episodes yet , following Dr. Robby and his colleagues as they dealt with the backwash of the Pitt Fest shooting and passed the hospital over to the night slip team . It was perhapsThe Pitt ’s most character - drive episode yet , wrapping up these somebody ’ storylines in fulfilling ways and setting the degree forThe Pitt ’s second season .

This episode have some ofThe Pitt ’s most excited moments , particularly as Dr. Robby began to unravel following the bedlam of the Pitt Fest shot . Leah’s Death Was A Major Plot Point In The Pitt

The most obvious of these fatalities from the shooting is Leah , the lady friend of Robby ’s friend Jake , whom the Dr. tries desperately to salve . This death is what triggers Robby ’s panic attackat the end of episode thirteen , and the guilt that he feels over this incident joystick around until the end of the season . Few of the other fatalities were named , though a twain were shown during the nurses ' visit to the makeshift dead room in pedology .
