This made it seem like the telly show would skip the iconic porch aspect . But at the rootage of episode 2 , Ellie asks Jesse if she can go on patrol with Joel andtells him that they ’ve patched things up . This suggests that they had that conversation on the porch after all , and it ’ll be evidence as a flashback in a future episode .
