Director Rian Johnson has confirm thatStar Wars : The Last Jediwill not fully reveal Snoke ’s backstory . Star Warsis cognise for having some memorable and threatening villains in the past tense , and with a new trilogy line up for Lucasfilm , fans have been wondering who will take up that mantle . Similar to Rey ’s parentage , Snoke is here to serve a function in the tale . And a story is not a Wikipedia pageboy .
