I Wasn’t Prepared For How Tragic Invincible’s Explanation Would Actually Be
I Wish The Answer Had Been Different
Despite the answer being compelling from a storytelling standpoint , I was not prepared for how upsettingInvincibleseason 3 would be in this regard . As someone who is unfamiliar with theInvinciblecomics , I was unaware of Rex ’s fictitious character arc and where it would precede . Although I recognise the storytelling tropes of redeeming a character and making them slightly felicitous and that this would likely lead in a heartrending deprivation , I did not love for certain what Rex ’s fate would be .
Naturally , Invincibleseason 3 devastated me with Rex ’s last . I believe it was a hearty continuation of his spark , but it did not make the moment any less sorrowful . Invincibleseason 3 , instalment 8 only boost this with Rex ’s funeral vista and the poignant tribute Rudy made to him by taking on his name . Again , the answerInvincibleprovided for why the next version of Robot was call Rex is good in many elbow room , but it still hurts that it stems from the decease of a darling fibre .
