In April 2016 we travel to Atlanta for aGuardians of the Galaxy Vol . 2set sojourn which began in the " war room " at Pinewood Studios before keep film and carry on interviews off - site . The state of war elbow room is basically a league room where the wall are covered in concept art , but with Marvel ’s extreme secrecy , they selectively pick what ’s on presentation . Where on the firstGuardians of the Galaxyset we check the entire flick ’s story , sequence by succession , on the subsequence they would n’t even reveal the name ofStar - Lord ’s dad(which was later revealed at San Diego Comic - Con to be Ego).We begin here with a conversation with Marvel Studios boss Kevin Feige and carbon monoxide gas - manufacturer Jonathan Schwartz who show us a sizzle keel to give us an idea of what to expect from the plastic film . We then watched some behind - the - aspect B - roll from the first three weeks of shot and a little 3D model animation of Baby Groot . This was the very first reveal of what Groot ( Baby Groot ) look like in the sequel and the reaction was a combination of cute " awwws " and laughter , something that ’s conduct through the marketing and selling since it became public . From here we had over half an hour to interview Feige as a group about the future of the Marvel Cinematic Universe . So , why has n’t Groot gotten big ? What ’s the story behind that ?
Kevin Feige : Well , I do n’t know if you ’re aware , but the growth bicycle of a Groot is dense . This motion picture takes stead relatively shortly after the events of the last film . Do we say exactly how long it is ?
Jonathan Schwartz : It ’s a couple months .
Kevin Feige : Just a few month , so he ’s probably just grown out of that pot and stepped out , and is now this size , but as James I ’m trusted will evidence you , he ’s just as dumb as big Groot was , and I mean , he ’s not really a baby . As James enounce in that sizzle , he begin , he gets unrestrained at people . And then of course , the fun thing is , as you saw in short in there , whereas Groot was Rocket ’s guardian in the first movie , Rocket is Groot ’s protector , and they sort of all are in this movie , which was something we had talked about and plan on . It was one of those things , when we were make the first film , and we were just centre on make that film as neat as it can be , there are always minuscule things that we say , boy , if we get to make another one , it would be really fun . And from the moment we were shoot and animating Rocket on Groot articulatio humeri , we were saying , on the next one , we ’ll turn back it . Would n’t that be cool ? And that ’s what we ’re doing .
Are you going to be doing anything unlike with Groot ’s voice , since manifestly Vin Diesel has that deep , gravelly ¦
Kevin Feige : He will sound different , yeah , but he ’ll still say that same thing . [ laughter ]
What has happened between the first pic and when this film starts ?
Kevin Feige : I think they ’re founder it a shot at being more unionized hero . They are , they are available for do - gooding , so to speak . It does n’t always good well , but they try that . And when we first meet them , in the beginning of the movie , they ’re on a place call Sovereign , where they ’ve been require to help with these , this gargantuan kind of inter dimensional wildcat that comes out and eats their shelling , their office reference , and wreaks havoc on the planet , and the Guardians have been call for to come in and dispatch with that affair , and that ’s how our plastic film starts , and their legend , and their mythology has grown and spread throughout the universe , because they get the better of Ronan and because they were able to hold , Peter , in particular was able to sustain an Infinity Stone and not die , which also has spread his legend .
Is this inter - dimensional savage a nod to the Cancerverse in Marvel Comics ¦
Kevin Feige : Not specifically . We do n’t talk about that . It ’s more just a play beast for them to attack in the opening title chronological succession .
I assume that Peter Quill ’s legend growing only makes Peter Quill more of an asshole .
It does n’t take much to make Peter Quill more of an asshole . Yes , there ’s a inflation . James , I ’m sure will speak about it more eloquently when you see him today , but they ’ve all grow a bit more grandiloquent and you be intimate , the service department band that then gets multi - platinum record album , and have egos to go along with that , is certainly the slip , which is true for all of them frankly . Not Drax as much , but all of them , particularly Quill .
Is this team still fetch to sleep with one another ?
Kevin Feige : I mean , they are , of form , but they are really and sincerely a household , and you ’ll get a line James verbalize about that a lot , and one of the things I think makes James so special as a author / theatre director , and you saw it in the first movie , and it ’s even more so in this moving-picture show , is for as fun as it is , for outrageous as it is , characters name Taserface , babe Groot , killing people and throwing them around , it is very , very emotional , and not cynical in the least . It is very , very truthful and sort of unabashedly so , in its emotion . And it ’s a very particular combination , that I think James is perfect for , and that ’s sort of the crux of this whole moving picture .
How does Kurt Russell cistron in ?
The other members of the Guardians of the Galaxy
Kevin Feige : Kurt Russell is a mysterious figure , an venturer from far parts of the galax , who has heard the legend that has spread of the Guardians that I bring up , and has number to , and has come to see them and check them out for the first metre .
So , what is the principal driving , the sizzle made it seem like it was Quill calculate for his forefather and also something with the Ravagers , so what is the chief driveway here ?
Kevin Feige : It ’s a combining . the Ravagers are a big part of this , are a magnanimous part of this motion picture , and I , much more so than even the first film , and they are , there ’s , I should have shown that too . We did a costume test for the Ravagers . You always do physical composition and costume tests on every motion picture , and usually people come in , and they stand around . Chris Pratt will put on his outfit and abide there and turn around and we point at his butt , and you get the gist of what the costume is going to be . With the Ravagers , we had them all in full costume and full war paint , and then James put them all together and basically just sound out , work like the Ravagers . I ’m telling you , I could have watched that footage for three time of day . It was screaming , and it was amazing get word these guys . They ’ve , they ’re some of the same actor from the first pic , a slew of fresh actors playing unexampled characters and new Ravagers , and there ’s something just really sort of chemically interesting that happens when you put them all together . There is a story , that you catch routine of in the B - curl , sizzle , that Yondu has gotten gentle , that Yondu has a soft spot for Quill . He distinctly at the end of the first movie opens the eyeball and sees that Infinity Stone is not in there , that a short round chick is in there , and he smiles . It ’s a very odoriferous instant in the first picture show . I think it shows that , you know , I believe he care about Quill peradventure more than he even admits , but there are other Ravagers who think that was shitty and cogitate they should have hunted him down and kill him right on the spot , and there is an incident in the first deed of this movie , where they ’ve been hired to get him , and yet again , Yondu is like , we ’re not going to take down the Guardians of the Galaxy . We ’d be crazy to do that . We ’d endanger ourselves . We ’d get the entire Nova Corps , everybody would come after us if we did that , and Taserface and some others are like , bull , you just say that because you ’re soft on Quill , and it lead to a mutiny , and in that we have a variety of a subplot of these mutinous ravagers , and Yondu and Rocket and Groot sort of of teaming up and get away from that mutiny to go help Quill , and you may have noticed without much ceremony in the sizzle , but we see it with great ceremonial occasion in the picture , he flummox a big , a much bigger fin on top of his oral sex , which was James ' sorting of nod of the principal to that bigger fin he had in the comics , and also because he looks frickin ' awesome in that self-aggrandizing fin .
Can we corroborate that Elizabeth Debicki is Ayesha , and Chris Sullivan is Taserface ?
Kevin Feige : Yes , yes . Did we not reassert that ? That is correct . That is correct .
What can you say us about Ayesha . Would you call her the independent villain ?
Kevin Feige : You get laid , she and Taserface together , she is , she ’s the one who hire the Ravagers to go after , to go after Quill , because , and this is sort of a spoiler , so you should be a little heedful about it , after the opening that I already described , where they ’re paid to protect these tiptop duper expensive battery , that head for the hills the entire Sovereign planet , they ’re walking away , they ’ve defeated the monster , they ’re heading back to their ship , and Eruca sativa reveals to Drax that he ’s steal like three of these batteries , because they ’re really expensive and they ’re not going to detect and who deal , and they ’re kind of , the Sovereign are kind of dicks anyway . They ’re very ceremonious , and they ’re gold and they ’re easily outrage , which we ’re also told early in this sequence , and that there ’s a very particular agency you ask to deal with them , and you need to speak with them and you involve to be fragile , which is not well-heeled for the Guardians , and certainly not easy when Rocket reveals that he ’s snagged these thing properly out from under them , and that creates a flake of discord for them as the Sovereign cease up chasing after them , less because they want those three batteries back , but more because how make bold they diss the great independent hoi polloi .
So how does Nebula fit into the fib then , because she sort of went off on her own at the remainder of the last one . We do n’t have intercourse ¦
Kevin Feige : She cut her own paw off , jumped onto a ship , and fly away . She come back into the tale relatively early on . In fact , we realize that the payment for the mission that the Guardians have done on Sovereign is to get Nebula . The Sovereign has captured Nebula , and are doing sort of a prisoner , are commute her for the services of the Guardians helping them , and they want to take Nebula back to Zandar , to have her , to have her halt . thing go askew on that journey , and she becomes a much bigger histrion in the pic than she was in the first one , and as James order in the sizzle and can speak more about today , you research that dynamic between them as sisters , as acquire sister who both , who both , you jazz , understandably were raised in less than idealistic circumstances by Thanos , and it ’s sort of Nebula ’s deciding does she need to stamp out Gamora or is she going to fix aside this form of internal rage within her . And she does expend some prison term teaming up with Taserface for much of the movie too .
It seems like transmitted conflicts seem to be kind of a thru - bank line , whether its Rocket and Groot and their kinship , obviously Peter and his father , Gamora and Nebula . Is that , you know , big form of subtext of this pic , multitude interacting with their own crime syndicate and fathers ¦
Absolutely , and Peter and Yondu , and Peter and his real Father-God , who may show up .
Speaking of his real Padre , there ’s a localization over here that is named J’Son , which is his father ’s name in the cartoon strip . It seems to be a location , as oppose to a person . Can you sort of speak about the location that is J’Son ?
Kevin Feige : You know , this room was scrubbed before you guy cable come in . [ laughter ]
There ’s also his ship called J’Son .
Kevin Feige : You ca n’t take everything out , I guess .
[ Laughs ]
Kevin Feige : It ’s a very good , it ’s a very good interrogation . You should inquire James . [ laughter ]
I guess sort of following up on that question , we see a bunch of different placement . How many locations are we go , how many planets are we going to this time . How big is the telescope of the Galax urceolata this prison term ?
Kevin Feige : I would say it ’s as bighearted , if not bragging than the first pic . Sovereign is a major planet , Berhert is a planet . Some of these names , in reality , in fairness , even not being cute about the J’Son thing , some of these names interchange , because they ’re not often cite in dialogue , so it total down to the locater . We deepen a lot of the names back and forth before we locked them in in the first movie , but Sovereign is a major planet , Berhert is a major planet , Contraxia is a planet , J’Son is a satellite , so four or five . We see glimpses of two or three other creation , but these are the major locations .
Is there any Thanos in this ?
Kevin Feige : No .
The other members of the Guardians of the Galaxy
Can you talk a piddling bit about how Mantis comes into the fold and why she ..
Kevin Feige : Yes , yeah . Mantis is , who ’s on set today ? Who are they lead to see ? Is she on band today ?
Jonathan Schwartz : Everyone is there .
Ayesha and the Ravagers are only some of the antagonists in Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.2
Kevin Feige : She ’s awesome . Pom Klementieff , which may or may not be the proper pronunciation , is really amazing and is really unique and is really , and her characterization of Mantis , she auditioned for the part many , many clip , along with many , many other people , because James was doing something very unparalleled with Mantis , who is a , has never really encountered other people and other human beings before , humanoids before , and makes Drax bet like the most Earth - savvy individual there is , and it ’s a bad affair to do and to be endearing , and she ’s middling awful at it . She comes into the story along with the Kurt Russell character , and does n’t know the other character and does n’t screw much of the world , and there is a , talk about the bondings between characters , she and Drax spend a deal of fourth dimension together in this news report as well .
Mantis in the funnies is a extremely complicated , eldritch character , whose chronicle make up small sense . I ’m assuming we ’re sort of clean - slate it here with this translation of Mantis , or is the heavenly Madonna clobber in play ?
Kevin Feige : Those specifics are not in dramatic play , but that does n’t mean it ’s any less complicated and unearthly . [ laughter ]
Guardians of the Galaxy 1 , even without Thanos in this one , did a luck of grievous lifting for setting up what will becomeInfinity War . Without Thanos in this moving picture , what role would you see it functioning within the larger MCU as we ’re building towardInfinity War .
Kevin Feige : I mean , this is really , again , I always say , all the movies , Civil Waris a standalone story about that , but that meet into it . This is even more of a standalone narrative than that . This is about the characters . This is about their phylogenesis as Hero , as their own internal family , as the group , a group of character recognise as the Guardians of the Galaxy . You be intimate , the way this flick end , and the team at the destruction , will inform future things , but there ’s nothing that nod directly towards it .
There ’s , take care like a Nova Corps ship back here , but John C. Reilly and Glenn Close are not in this one ?
Kevin Feige : John C. Reilly is not in this one .
Glenn closely might be ?
Kevin Feige : Those are two models from the first film . They were like , let ’s bring them in here , put them in the room . [ laughter ]
Guardians of the Galaxy 2 Female Characters
With Nova being introduced in the last movie as sort of a specie or police force , are we kick the bucket to see an evolution of that ¦
Kevin Feige : Certainly you could see that someday . This movie is not set up for that in any fashion .
One thing I intend people love about the first film was how unearthly and mad you guy cable got . Are you pushing with this pic or is it like you ’ve now shew the universe .
Kevin Feige : No , we ’re pushing . We ’re pushing with it . There are a handful of things that we discussed about what the next movie could be about as we were finishing the first picture . When released the first motion-picture show and James endure off for a little while and withdraw some of those things , and came back and had a rake for this movie that was astonishing - and we were in the midst of a couple of other project at the time , as we always are - a lot of which were not comfortable . None of them are loose . And you ’re tangling through different news report job and stuff , and James delivered a 64 - page intervention . And we were dealing with all these other things and all this stuff , and I was like ' 64 page discourse ? like why ca n’t it just be 4 pageboy , each sheet , what ? ! '
I started reading it , frickin ' awe … it was awing . It was really , and you know it ’s changed , it evolved a piffling bit , but it was so well thought out and so localise up in payoffs and character beats and joke and , that it was just like , ' [ suspiration of succor ] maybe I do n’t have to interest about this one . ' And of course we worry about everything , but what was great , and the thing that was so coolheaded about it is it was , and a piddling bit easy than the first movie , I think , that you have it off the character ’s voice now . We were defining all of them as we were run low in the first movie . Now you know their voices , so when you translate it , you learn that , so to that regard , yes , these characters ' vocalisation are just as discrete and sweet as they were the first time . However , the overarching plot line and where the tale takes us , I mean is perhaps even more unparalleled and more daring than the first film , in footing of there ’s maybe an well-to-do agency , and a hard mode , but the hard way perchance could be more interesting , which is kind of what Guardians was all about for us , as build a motion-picture show universe , and we ’re for certain go that way as well in this one .
Was the medicine a part of that pitch and did you take heed to it , and how does the music play into this one .
Kevin Feige : I think he afford a disc at the same sentence when the treatment come out .
Is the music sort of like diegetic in this again .
Kevin Feige : What does that word mean ?
Is it basically off the mag tape sort of , talk about how the role the music .
Kevin Feige : It is all off the tape . It ’s all off of book 2 . I would say that the other Guardians now have it off that music is a thing for Peter , so in early scenes , what you see baby Groot here , which he ’s just ' Groot ' in the movie , but on set we call him baby Groot , he ’s setting up these picayune outerspace speakers so that the music can play for all of them , because Quill like to get a line music when he ’s fighting . So , it does go to more than just his headset , but it ’s all based off of Volume 2 . And I would say that a brace of the songs , and peculiarly one birdsong has very unequalled lyrics that play in much more specific part into the plot , than any strain did in the first film .
Were you able to get all the songs you wanted ?
Kevin Feige : We ’ve cleared all the songs that were in the playscript , yeah , yeah . You do n’t actually bear for them until you edit the movie together and decide . If you use the first moving picture as a trail phonograph record , every song , mayhap one or two songs come out of the movie that were , that had been in the script , for distance more than anything else , but we ’ll probably end up using the vast bulk of them , and certainly the I that play into the plot of land and dialogue are in .
We ’re not get any airless to bringing this team to Earth at any spot , are we ? It seems like you ’re move out further .
Kevin Feige : We are going out further , yes . There ’s a little turn of Earth in this film , but it ’s not these persona go to earth .
Does Peter Quill only take heed to mix Volume 2 now or does he revisit the first one ?
Kevin Feige : Right now it ’s only Volume 2 .
With the first one being such a big success , and with people really key into this lot of Marvel universe , do you see going forward more films set in this part of the universe ? We ’ve been so terra firma - bound in the rest of the MCU . Is there a possibility of the Nova Corps or other cosmic Marvel characters branching off from this substructure ?
Kevin Feige : Yeah , for certain . I do n’t know about branching off from this , but sure inhabit alike area from this . A slew of our forthcoming movies will . I intend the approaching movies will be as much up here , as they are on earth , start with notSpider - Man , starting withThor : Ragnarok . Thor : Ragnoraktakes place , there are three scene on Earth inThor : Ragnarok . Everything else is Asgard , and not any of these human beings , but worldwthat certainly , let ’s put it this way , in Thor lingo , it ’s beyond the nine realms . There are other planets that we spend a mint of clock time on inThor : Ragnarok , that sure enough people would say , oh , that ’s sort of like theGuardiansworld , but they ’re just other areas of the Marvel cosmos universe .
As the Guardians reputation spreads through the extragalactic nebula , are they locomote take heed even a whispering of the Avengers or Thor or anything like that . Are we going to get a good sense that it is sort of the same universe , even just a quick mention .
Kevin Feige : They might know about Thor . It does n’t come up . It does n’t amount up . I do n’t cogitate they make out anything about the Avengers . They might know Volstagg and Sif walk into the Collector ’s lab once , so they sort of must know that … some people know they subsist , but that does n’t come into play in this tarradiddle .
The first pic work so well , tonally , the medicine and its humor , etc . How do you go about not just repeating that this metre and throw this its own separate space to work in .
Kevin Feige : Well , going to all these unlike planets , live to very unlike locations , and premise all the new characters that are introduce in this movie , an evolving significantly the relationships Yondu , Nebula , of supporting characters from the first picture show , is for sure a twosome of the ways that James is doing that .
How are these villains different from any of the other villains that we ’ve seen so far in the Marvel world ?
Kevin Feige : Well , I mean , Taserface and Ayesha are less grandiose in their ambitions than Ronan was , for instance . Ayesha just need to defeat them for cold-shoulder her and Taserface wants to take the Ravagers and cogitate that , as I said , Yondu got flaccid . We learn that there are many Ravager junto , of which Yondu controlled one large junto , and a faction that frankly was not needfully beloved by the other Ravager faction , in large part because they did things like traffic kids from one place to another , which the other Ravagers did n’t eff necessarily and pose Yondu apart from them . Yondu is generate diffused . His experience with Quill in the first movie perhaps is dampen him a little bit , certainly more so than the other Ravagers , and Taserface thinks , who cares about the other Ravagers , and this bozo getting soft , we ’re go to be , we never say plagiarizer of course , but that ’s sort of the inspiration for them , regardless , and there are a couple you go out in the B-complex vitamin - roll , references to walking the board . Taserface is not a nice guy .
What ’s at the end of that plank ?
Kevin Feige : Outer quad … The deadly vacuum of space .
What have you learned about create scoundrel for Marvel motion picture , because you know , in the beginning in Phase 2 , as well , like the scale was always really big , like Ronan , but even with Baron Zemo inCivil War , it ’s very small in scope . What have you sort of learned as you guy are getting this far into the ..
Kevin Feige : Well , it always variegate , but it always starts with what help the story the most and what serves the bomber the most . We ’ve been criticize - if a big criticism of ours is that we centre on the heroes more than the villains , I think that ’s probably true . I do n’t think it will always be true and I think some of you speak to Chris and Steve at theCivil Warjunket . When the heck was that , yesterday ? Last week ? And they speak about - in befittingly oblique footing - Thanos . Thanos inInfinity Waris , you know … in a movie that has a stack of character , you could almost go so far as to say he is the main grapheme , and that ’s a bit of a leaving from what we ’ve done before , but that was appropriate for a pic calledInfinity War .
In a lot of cases , Ronan - Ronan ’s great , Lee Pace awing job , absolutely do it - but certainly was there to go up against our heroes and to give our hero a understanding for coming together . And I think it ’s , I waffle to even … in 2008 , there are two superhero movies that come out . One focused on the villain , one focalise on the zep , and we at Marvel expect at them as like ' yeah , we focus on the heroes . We do n’t mind that . We like that . ' Please do n’t start a flaming war . We do n’t , nobody wants that . We do n’t do that . It really always is what serves the account . Loki , great character reference , serves , you know , in a lot of shipway , Thor . Zemo service that conflict between Cap and Iron Man .
Do you find that you might start having these villains that do n’t just go away after one flick , like you had with Loki and Thanos , like you might start incorporating these villains you may develop like your heroes ?
Kevin Feige : Sure , I mean , they wo n’t all , if we ’re talking about Phase 3 , they do n’t all , a band of them can continue . Thanos is the biggest one , of path .
Will we see any Infinity Stones in this one ?
It seems like the scope of this is large , but the scale seems to be modest and personal . Is there sort of a universe ending or major planet - ruin threat that we ’re not see here or is it really just these two different groups that kind of ¦
Kevin Feige : It ’s principally these two different grouping . There are other surprises and other things that go on in the moving picture , over the course of the story , but all of it is in the service of very , very personal bet .
There were rumors that the Guardians were go to take over Tower of Terror at Disney ’s California Adventure . Can you talk about that and what their function will be in the parks world ?
Kevin Feige : I ca n’t really , I ca n’t really talk about it , but I know that Imagineering has been talking about it for yr and I retrieve we ’re getting closer to actually seeing more of the Marvel characters in the commons , which is something that I ’ve wanted to see for a long metre . The timeline is very unlike when it come to build up giant park rides , as I ’ve learn , but so I consider you ’ll see the incorporation of many Marvel things , but that could be over the next 10 - 15 year .
Will we see the Guardians show up in any of the other flick come in up after this subsequence or we just go to a third film or will they all come over toInfinity War . Will we see them inThor : Ragnarok ?
Kevin Feige : [ laugh ] We do n’t experience anything .
Is it a challenge finding time for every individual in the sequel , because come out of the first one , everybody had their preferred and it was a little chip surprise who come up to the top , like I love Groot or I enjoy Rocket , so when you get to a sequel , some masses might be coming in wanting a lot of Star - Lord , some hoi polloi might desire a lot of Yondu , etc .
Kevin Feige : They will get a lot of both of those things [ Laughs ] . No , I think that ’s , I believe it come down to the screenplay again . I thinkCivil War , and Chris [ Markus ] and Steve [ McFeely ] and Joe and Anthony [ Russo ] did a magnificent business of equilibrize those reference and there are many more characters inCivil Warthan there are in this picture show , but that ’s one of the things that James [ Gunn ] does incredibly well , and again , it ’s not about the amount of screen meter . It ’s about what they ’re doing in the screen fourth dimension they have , and I conceive every unmarried character on these walls has great moments , and more than that , neat arc over the course of the movie , for certain .
Can you tattle about baby Groot ’s costume , and why he has clothing on this time and how that came to be ?
Kevin Feige : He only has it very briefly and that is a Ravager costume , which the very mean Ravagers sort of quick sew and put him in , because they think it ’s risible .
Kevin Feige : Groot does not think it ’s funny .
Some of the fun of the first Guardians moving-picture show was the way it like , rather audaciously subverted a lot of superhero movie tropes , you know , down to Peter Quill challenging Ronan to a dance off in the net battles . Can you babble out about how that will retain in the next moving picture , if at all .
Kevin Feige : Well , I would say the spirit of that continues throughout the integral movie , starting with an opening in which they ’re purportedly the heroes , but they went and snagged the frickin ' affair they were supposed to be protecting , which was a very other idea the James had .
This is obviously complicated by dissimilar departments involved in this interrogation , but with the firstGuardians , there was a lot of concern that when the merch came out , Gamora was n’t seen in a lot of spot . This movie has Nebula forward , Mantis joins the group . Are we going to see , as the merch and stuff come forward , are we going to see more women ? Is there followup to the Black Widow hunting expedition that people were having on the internet .
Kevin Feige : That was very frustrating for us , because we see it from the other side , right . When I say we , I mean the filmmakers , because we ’re presented with the stuff that ’s being made , and there ’s , I do n’t know if there ’s an absolutely equal sampling , but Black Widow was all over that . Gamora was all over that material . What we do n’t see is how much of it is in any given store . How easy is one piece of merchandise to find versus another piece of product . So , we see the stuff and we go , oh great , these are all our character , they ’re all great represented , they ’re all go to be sold , and then we obtain out , oh , you ca n’t ascertain this , you ca n’t find that , or there ’s lunch boxful or a backpack where a certain eccentric is not on it , and I think the scandalisation was corking , because that ’s not going to happen anymore . And that was one of our great things we set out to do and was very important to James as well , was putting , as we did in the first film , with a telephone number of fiber , even more so this time , redact women at the forefront of the story .
Is that something that you ’re going to be more Byzantine in going forward , making certain that there is that internal representation ?
Kevin Feige : There is , in as much as what we can have sway over . We ca n’t have rock over what a retail storehouse , how many item of what they need to carry on a shelf , but when toy dog set come over , or thyroxine - shirt designs come over , if they ’re not represented in good order or representative of the film , we ’re not even tell is the par of each gender specific , we ’re going does it represent the movie we ’re making , and if it does n’t , we send it back until it does .
Thanks !
Kevin Feige : Have a gravid time on set . We ’re gain another movie around the corner here , which I ’m going to spend my day on , but you ’re going to go see a lot of bent you meet in here .
