AlthoughApple TV+‘sSiloadaptation has made several changes to the Hugh Howey ledger , the overall story has stay largely the same . So , I suppose the show was always destine to take the direction it has . Apple TV+’s current run of episodes lacks the same level of intrigue
Siloseason 1 ’s entire storyline was built around the closed book of what the extraneous world actually looked like . From the flick viewscreen inside Silo 18 , to the recover footage from those sent out to clean , the show kept me forever wonder whether the open was good . I had n’t read the ledger , so I had no idea what the the true was , and every time I thought I had it worked out , the show threw me another curveball . The big reveal of the aerofoil being genuinely uninhabitable was amazing , but the chassis to that present moment set an incredibly high bench mark .
I find myself languish for the days when I was left gloriously in the iniquity , rather than witnessing Tim Robbins ' Bernard Holland carry out his Mayoral obligation .

Silo Season 2’s Mysteries Aren’t Quite As Interesting
Juliette’s exploration and Bernard’s political issues aren’t equal replacements
Siloseason 2 is clearly aware of the fact it had to replace the mystery of whether the surface was good , as it has insert a number of young mysteries . For example , there is clearly more going on in the quietconflict between Bernard and Sims inSiloseason 2 , and the indistinguishability of the valet that Juliette retrieve concealment in the vault does genuinely intrigue me . Unfortunately , none of the tolerate - in storylines quite live up to the biggest twist fromSiloseason 1 .
Silo season 2 may seem as though it ’s going to be irregular , but there ’s a massive melodious clue at the end of " The Engineer " that gives it away .
I think the show could also have done a better job of hiding what happened to theflooded Silo that Juliette stumbled into , at least for a while . Although it was interesting to see how the other community quickly fell into disarray , I think light upon the cause and progress of the fierce rebellion would have been more rewarding if parsed out throughout the sequence , or even the time of year . Instead , theSiloseason 2 premiere give everything aside about that particular subplot somewhat much right away - which is somethingSiloseason 1 often protest .
