Salma Hayek : The pansy of Badassery .

The Queen of Badassery . How fun and liberating was it to play a role like this ?

Salma Hayek : Ah , it was so lovely and freeing . I really have to say I did n’t get enough because my part is n’t big enough and I make love being inside of her skin . I sleep with kicking some ass in that bar where people tried to disrespect me and I punched them all and kicked them . I love saying all of the unfit words that would come out of my mouth like a machine gun in English and in Spanish and I loved my Cucaracha , which is what I call my hubby Samuel L. Jackson in the film . I call him Cucaracha because it means rophy and he just wo n’t die .

Salma Hayek in The Hitman’s Bodyguard

That ’s true . You have a go at it , maybe someday we ’ll get the Sonia Kincaid the prequel or the continuation .

Salma Hayek : Oh , please !

One affair that I was rum about though was just a trivial bit of backstory . How do you think she punked out her cellmates so hard ? What is it that got her on lockdown like that ?

Movies

Salma Hayek : You live , I actually ask for her . She was n’t written in the hand .

Oh , really ?

Salma Hayek : Oh , no . I was Irish . They gave me this part and they encourage me to create it into a lineament . When I said to the film director I want a cellmate .   He goes , “ Are you going to start writing her line of products ? ” So I said , no . She wo n’t talk . “ But what for ? ” It ’s just funny . Just believe me . And so I needed to show in a couple of scenes a whole sprightliness and who she was . And so , she was a botheration in the neck for everyone that crossed her way of life and it was so good to have someone in there that you would sense sorry that they got locked up with me .

The Hitman’s Bodyguard

Yeah . That ’s very true . speak of which , this movie is a good deal of playfulness . With films like this , how much do you get to bring that is n’t needfully on the page ?

Salma Hayek : With this finical theatrical role , everything .

Really ?

Salma Hayek : It was brilliantly written . The whole movie . But there really needed , the whole pic revolves around this marriage and she is not onscreen a lot . So , if that did n’t work , it could have put the film , possibly not because it ’s so good , but it would have been baffling for the film . So I was hired to come and do that , so in this exceptional case I had the producer and the director really require to take out of me as much as they could .
