Sato pass on away before the events ofCobra Kai , but if he were live , he would quite likely be against his nephew , Chozen , date the granddaughter of Master Kim Sun - Yung . If Master Kim learns about Da - Eun and Chozen inCobra Kaiseason 6 , part 3 , it ’s knockout to imagine he would n’t interdict it . Master Kim developed the vehement phase of Tang Soo Do that became the basis for Cobra Kai karate , whileSato was a Miyagi - Do sensei . They would consider Da - Eun and Chozen as mismated as their styles of karate .
