In this instalment , he invoked his knowledge of the Imperial Senate to aid his fellowAndorcast membermake her integral lecture . Interestingly , though , Bail did not flee to Yavin alongside Mon Mothma , highlighting his fearlessness in the face of potentially tragic consequences . Oran has been part ofAndorseason 2 ’s storyas the senator from Ghorman , the planet that faced race murder the episode to begin with . As Oran is being drop back out by stormtroopers , he scream at the other senators about how the Ghorman Massacre was no carnage at all and that , if they let the Empire to get away with it , other planets will stand .

As he sound out this , though , the tv camera tailor to Bail Organa , subtly teasing how Oran ’s dark prediction will fare true after in theStar Warstimeline . As many familiar with the original trilogy will know , Alderaan is destroyed by the Death Star inA New Hope , stamp out Bail and every other citizen on the planet as his daughter , Leia , watch on .
Bail Staying On Coruscant Makes Alderaan’s Destruction More Ironically Heartbreaking
Bail Never Escapes The Empire’s Darkness
Tying this back to Bail ’s decision to bide on Coruscant , the credit to Alderaan ’s devastation makes this more heartbreaking . Due to staying on Coruscant for longer than Mon Mothma , Bail was likely privy to many more atrocities than the Ghorman Massacre as the Emperor grew bolder . Eventually , Bail left Coruscant to fight these atrocities himself too , just as Mon did .
Bail never get the chance to before live one of the genocidal event he left behind …
However , in a tragical turn of irony , Bail left the home of these atrocity only to witness one firsthand . Bail had to witness the Death Star firing on his major planet , knowing that all of his people would be destroyed too . Bail left Coruscant and stopped being a slightly still witness to the Empire ’s crimes and expected to crusade back . Sadly , Bail never got the prospect to before experiencing one of the genocidal effect he left behind .
