Even if her dark alter ego has been lock away , there ’s no way that adult Tai is let Melissa get away with kill Van . And the dawdler for theYellowjacketsseason 3 finis designate her pulling a knife on someone . It also sees her lamenting , " She ’s go to terminate up being the last one standing . " I call back Tai is go to hunt down down adult Melissa , but my theory is that she wo n’t in reality kill her . Doing so would render Van ’s sacrifice meaningless , as teen Van suggest her fate was worth it to get the literal Tai back .

That does n’t mean Tai wo n’t take to grapple with her rage and how to handle it , though , andI do n’t believe her world power struggle with Other Tai is over . Hopefully , she ’ll choose the one Van wanted in control — though given how darkYellowjacketsgets , you just never get it on .

Theend ofYellowjacketsseason 3 , installment 9sees Misty returning to the plane ’s break transponder , look for a way to bushel Hannah ’s phone . Natalie catches her , and while Misty could come up with a prevarication , it seems like Natalie has already pieced together the trueness about Misty ’s action in season 1 . Natalie ’s realization that Misty broke the transponder explains her disrespect for Misty in the adult timeline . However , I do n’t think Natalie will tell the other girls what Misty has done .
Things are heating up in Yellowjackets season 3 ’s Wilderness timeline , but the events of the stripling story are making it harder to consider the adult one .
I agree with the theory that Natalie will likely keep Misty ’s secret ( viaReddit ) , part because she ’s bright that Misty can still get them home and partially because she does n’t want more blood on her hands . And this explain why Misty worship Natalie inYellowjackets ' present - day story . Crystal turns on Misty when she learns the truth , but Natalie protects and go with her . She may be appalled by what Misty did , but Misty reads her reaction as friendly relationship .
